My work is ultimately about modern day relationships originating from the individual and including family and friends, the natural and manmade world and the community in which I live.

My perspective as an artist is informed by my notions of what beauty is, which stems in large part from a sense of otherness. Examining relationships from this perspective allows me to create work that comments on modern life in a way that has an immediate emotional impact within a more subtle conceptual framework.
